Mark Bozek

Mark performs in our February 2025 Seriously Entertaining show at Joe’s Pub, speaking on the theme “Look Both Ways.”

Mark Bozek is not much of a strategist – rather someone who “seizes the day” opportunistically. After working at Fox Television for Barry Diller when it was a start-up in the late 1980’s he then went on to spend the next 12 years working alongside Diller, first to QVC and then to HSN, where he was made CEO in 1998. After spending longer in the tv-shopping space than imagined, he returned to New York and learned how to edit movies on Final Cut Pro on his Mac. 18 months later he wrote, produced and directed a documentary called, “The Times of Bill Cunningham” about legendary NY Times photographer and fashion historian. The film opened, to rave reviews, on February 14, 2020. It was scheduled to open in 150 theaters across North America on Friday, March 13th, 2020, when Covid shut the world down. In September of 2024 he released his first book for publisher Rizzoli called The Battle of Versailles: The Fashion Showdown of 1973.
