Inventory Manager, Bookmobile
Elliot Chamberlain has worked in books for over a decade, first getting his start as a bookseller at the beloved Bank Street Bookstore in the UWS. He has a special interest in children’s lit, as well as LGBTQ+ lit, and volunteers at The Nonbinarian Bookstore as a book bike ambassador and children’s book buyer. Elliot’s passion for books started when he was a child, allegedly spending hours flipping through picture books before he could read, which formulated into a love for writing and an eventual MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. He is the Inventory Manager with House of Speakeasy Bookmobile and through his work he hopes to collect a wide variety of literature that addresses community needs.
