Adem Bunkeddeko is the former Executive Director of Coro New York, where he led the organization’s turnaround following the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to Coro, Adem worked in a variety of leadership roles across the private, public, and social sectors. And for five years, he served on Brooklyn Community Board #8. Adem’s parents are war refugees who fled Uganda’s turbulent civil war to seek sanctuary and opportunity in the United States; Adem is one of the first members of his family to graduate from college and earn a graduate degree. He received a B.A from Haverford College where he studied political science and philosophy and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
