Minerva Martinez

Minerva was a featured author at the “Read Aloud Series” for SpeakTogether through the Children’s Defense Fund, Freedom Schools Summer Read Aloud Initiative on August 8, 2022.

Minerva Martinez is a writer based in Brooklyn, New York. She holds an MFA in nonfiction from The New School. Minerva worked in the world of championship boxing for almost a decade and is presently working on a novel about the sweet science. Her work has appeared in The Newtown Literary Journal, Evergreen Review, and W42ST.
