Paul Lisicky
Paul will perform in our May 2025 show, themed “Let the Great World Spin.” Paul previously performed on stage for Seriously Entertaining at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater on April 21, 2020, speaking on the evening’s theme, “Going The Distance.”
Paul Lisicky is the author of seven books, including Song So Wild and Blue: A Life with the Music of Joni Mitchell, Later, The Narrow Door, and Lawnboy. His work has appeared in The Atlantic, BuzzFeed, Conjunctions, The Cut, Fence, The New York Times, Ploughshares, Tin House, and in many other magazines and anthologies. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, he is currently a professor of English in the Creative Writing MFA Program at Rutgers University-Camden, where he is the editor of StoryQuarterly. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
